Trelona ATBS Termite Bait Station System

Dunrite Pest and Termite is a licensed dealer of the Trelona® ATBS Termite Bait Station System which is a great solution to your termite problem. Our technicians were trained by professionals in both the classroom and field.
The Trelona® ATBS System features:
  • An oversized canister and unique, vertical slats which makes it easier for the termites to find the bait.
  • There is an active ingredient that reduces the number of termites while achieving ongoing structural protection through colony elimination.
  • Only needs to be monitored annually.
  • Proven ability to be found by termites quicker than other popular brands.
Terlona Install
  • Our termite bait stations are designed specifically to target subterranean termites as they are planted in the ground around the perimeter of your home.
  • These stations are filled with bait that is much tastier to termites than the wood of your home. When forger termites find the bait, they take it back to their colony and share it their queen as well as their fellow workers. Over the course of a week or two, the sharing of this bait will wipe out the entire colony.

  • We refill these bait stations once a year but if you ever have concerns about seeing termites in or around your home, please don’t hesitate to call and we will come out to assess the situation as soon as possible.
  • These bait stations, while still attractive to drywood termites, are probably not drawing drywood termites out of your house. For that specific species, we would recommend a series of spot treatments as well as the bait stations to treat the immediate problem and for long term prevention.

Termite Spot Treatment

  • The partial treatment is most commonly used to treat drywood termites but it can be used for subterranean as well.
  • This is when we apply a product to a small area (roughly 2’x2’) to essentially poison their food source and allow them to bring that food back to their colony and queen to eradicate it over the course of a week or two.
  • If you continue to see termites or frass after two weeks, please call us back and we will come back out and treat free of charge.
  • An important thing to note is that this treatment is only for a small spot- we cannot know or predict if termites will move or expand into another area of a wall, room, or house. There could be multiple drywood termite colonies in the home but can be difficult to know this without having evidence of frass or wings in that area.
